Brief/Overview from the client:
Layout/Plans:
– 275 m²
– 1 x Boardroom (Going to be the showpiece of the office)
– Fake Plans – They love greenery
– Look at giving the accountant a closed office space
– 2 x Private offices for Directors
– Open plan for the rest of the staff
– Add storage room – Boxes (archive) and hanging files (Access control)
Initial Challenges:
Maximizing space utilization while maintaining comfort and functionality can be tricky, especially in smaller offices or those with unusual layouts. Creating an office that promotes employee well-being and comfort, including ergonomics, lighting, and air quality, can be difficult to balance with design and cost considerations.
Materials used and why:
Reception – A modern interior with a white walls, a brown leather couch with a patterned pillow. The couch sits near a round gray furry pouf. A gray and white patterned rug is under the couch. Next to the rug is a white couch to provide a great balance of colour . Accented by hanging potted plants and a black and gold chandelier. The floor is hardwood.
Boardroom – The conference room with a long wooden table and gray chairs. The wall behind the table is covered in a dark blue geometric wallpaper. The wallpaper is a pattern of repeating, curved shapes that appear to be a combination of squares and half-circles. The wallpaper is modern, stylish and adds visual interest to the room.
The boardroom is a simple, but well-designed conference room that is perfectly suited for professional meetings. The lighting in the room is bright and welcoming
Open Plan – The workstations against the wall, each with black chairs and wooden desks. A black bag is placed on one of the desks. The ceiling has several long fluorescent light fixtures. The floor is covered in black carpeting. Open plan continues to capture the minimalist and efficient design.
Design/Architectural Considerations:
Reception – A neon sign in pink featured at the reception wall adds a vibrant lush feel.
Boardroom – The furniture is comfortable and functional. The overall impression of the room is clean, modern, and professional.
Open Plan – Modern office space with several workstations. Each workstation is separated by gray soundproof panels, providing privacy and a quiet environment. The open plan captures the minimalist and efficient design.
