Brief/Overview from the client:
To infuse GetGo Home Loans’ values into the office space and create a dynamic, engaging environment:
Value Statements: Large, artistic wall decals featuring the new values in key areas like the entrance, meeting rooms, and common areas.
Artwork and Murals: Commission artists to create murals that visually represent the values, providing both inspiration and a unique touch.
Meeting Rooms: Name meeting rooms after each value and decorate them accordingly, reinforcing the message during discussions.
Breakout Areas: Create themed breakout areas with decor that embodies specific values, making them ideal spots for informal meetings and relaxation.
Open Spaces: Design open spaces to promote collaboration and communication, reflecting values like teamwork and transparency.
Quiet Zones: Provide areas for focused work, aligning with values of dedication and excellence.
This plan was ultimately to create a vibrant and value-driven environment within the office.
Initial Challenges:
Branding the office in a classy manner that respects the company’s identity, while still allowing employees to work without visual distractions over the course of the work day and creating quiet spaces for informal meetings.
.
Materials used and why:
Light-colored table tops blending functionality and style and creating a feeling of lightness.
Dark blue with a large, abstract design in shades of green and blue at key/feature walls to highlight key spaces and create visual breaks from the otherwise muted white walls.
White and green “GetGo Home Loans” logo prominently displayed, enhancing brand visibility at the reception and through the workspace.
The use of glass allows us to define space without limiting the quality of light.
Vinyl is also used to create privacy where required.
The combination of materials and colors creates a sophisticated, modern space that reflects GetGo Home Loans’ values and brand identity.
Design/Architectural Considerations:
Modern with clean lines and a minimalist aesthetic. Open and inviting, featuring large windows for natural light. The inclusion of potted plants, adding a touch of greenery.
Overall, the design is professional and welcoming, perfect for a business environment.
