Brief/Overview from the client: 

The goal was to create a space that supports various functions such as seminars, meetings, training events, and hosting guests from different fields. Additionally, the space should accommodate the display of high-end products including luxury lighting, decking, solar equipment, stone and marble cladding, furniture, and other premium items

Initial Challenges:

Meeting the needs of a multi-functional space came  with its own set of challenges: Navigating these requires meticulous planning, clear communication, and a flexible approach.

Materials used and why:

Reception – Materials

• Wood: Light-colored wood flooring and a wooden bookshelf add warmth and elegance to the space.
• Glass: Glass walls allow for plenty of natural light and provide an open, airy feel.
• Metal: The chairs have black metal legs, contributing to the modern aesthetic.
• Upholstery: Beige fabric on the chairs adds a touch of comfort and softness.

Bar Area – Materials

• Wood: Used extensively for the bar front, shelves, and some decorative elements, adding a natural, inviting touch.
• Metal: Black metal legs on the bar stools and metal accents in the chandelier contribute to the modern aesthetic.
• Fabric: Light gray fabric upholstery on the bar stools offers comfort and sophistication.
• Glass: Display shelves and some decorative objects are made of glass, enhancing the sleek, modern feel.
• Lighting: Warm lighting is used throughout, with built-in shelf lights and a striking chandelier above the bar.

Meeting Rooms – Materials

• Wood: Used extensively for the floor, table, and wall paneling, creating a natural, inviting ambiance.
• Glass: The glass partition enhances the sense of openness and allows light to flow through the space.
• Metal: Likely used in the chair frames and other fixtures, contributing to the modern aesthetic.
• Fabric: Cushioned chairs are upholstered in fabric, ensuring comfort during long meetings.

Design/Architectural Considerations:

Reception – Overall, the space is designed to be both visually appealing and highly functional, making it an ideal environment for productivity and creativity.  Sharp lines create a sense of order and professionalism.

Bar Area – The stylish mix of materials and design elements creates an inviting yet sophisticated atmosphere, perfect for socializing and relaxation. With clean lines and a minimalist aesthetic dominate the architecture. The combination of wood and metal elements creates a balanced, contemporary look.

Meeting Rooms – Overall, the room combines functionality with stylish design, making it an ideal setting for professional gatherings and discussions. With clean lines creating a sleek and professional atmosphere. With ties in with the overall design aesthetic.
